About Iron In The Blood

Our local, family-run business has been established since 1899 and is run by father and son team Tim and Oliver Bramston. The Iron In The Blood workshop is situated in the heart of Devon and we have extensive experience in steel fabrication as well as construction and restoration for domestic, agricultural and industrial clientele. Since going to university, Oliver has focused his skills on the metal work side of the business, while also furthering his studies on other metals such as copper, brass and silver.

The quality of Oliver’s work has led him to win multiple prizes and awards in the National Blacksmithing Competitions. They include North Somerset County Show Champion 2019, Dorset County Show Champion 2018 and Royal Cornwall Show Reserve Champion 2019. With his family history and passion for the craft, Oliver surely has ‘Iron In The Blood’.
